The Southside Summer Social Series is a welcoming social hockey competition that brings together juniors and seniors, beginners and experienced players, in a fun and inclusive environment we describe as Mixed, Modified and Mentored. The HACT Midweek social competition is aimed at existing hockey players who are looking to continue playing 'the real deal' over the summer months. Games are played on a full-sized hockey field (91.4m long and 55m wide), with 4 x 17-minute quarters. Teams play once per week on a Tuesday or Thursday.
The HACT Sunday afternoon social competition is open to all and enables friends and family to play together. The Sunday Social competition will be played on a full-sized field with 50 minute games consisting of 2 x 25 minute halves. The competition is played with modified social rules making it safer and more inclusive for all skill levels.
